You can order SmartMusic through a Home Subscription for Students
for only $25 for a whole year.

SmartMusic is a great tool, and it makes practicing more fun.

SmartMusic is great for Brass and Woodwind players (Vocalists too!) SmartMusic can now hear percussion instruments properly, but assessment and Intelligent Accompaniment are disabled for Percussionists, on titles released before version 10.

To have the best experience you should have a microphone attached to your computer. SmartMusic sells inexpensive Instrument and Vocal Microphones.
The Foot Pedal is handy as well so you can keep your hands in the proper playing position when starting.

NYSSMA soloists should check the SmartMusic Repertoire list, before you decide on your piece. Not all NYSSMA solos are included in SmartMusic.

Essential Elements 2000 - Books 1 & 2 &
Standard of Excellence - Books 1 & 2 are both in SmartMusic!

SmartMusic also includes some of our band pieces with on screen music.
It can also take any music file (mp3) and change the speed.
