- be on time for class. Students are expected to be in their seats and ready to go when the bell rings. After the third unexcused tardy, the student will be referred to the Assistant Principal

- be courteous and respectful.
In addition students are expected to follow the guidelines outlined in the student handbook. Parents/guardians will be notified if their child fails to comply with these guidelines. In addition the students will be referred to the Assistant Principal.
HOMEWORK
Homework is part of the curriculum extending and reinforcing the learning experience. Students are expected to:
- Do any assigned homework, review and study all material covered in class that day. Most homework assignments will involve studying. Not having a written assignment does not necessarily mean there in no homework.
- Submit the homework on the due date. Homework will be accepted one day late with a penalty. After that homework will receive no credit.
- Be responsible for obtaining all homework assignments missed due to legal absences. It is the responsibility of the student to find out what work was done in school that day. Students have the same number of days they were absent to hand in any missed work. After that it will be considered late.
- Present homework that is neat and properly done.
TESTING
Quizzes and tests are tools to measure the progress of a student. They not only show a student’s strong points but also areas where improvement is needed. Students are expected to:
- Study daily. Vocabulary needs to be re-enforced daily in order to ensure retention. Review quizzes/exams to see where they made errors and learn from them.
- Take exams/quizzes if they have been in class for the material covered. Being absent from school the day before does not exempt a student from taking the exam.
